The second online event of the fifth season of WEBKAMA Talks will take place on April 7. Our next guest is a KAMA graduate, co-founder and creative director of the I AM IDEA agency Ihor Finashkin. We’ll talk about advertising and creativity during the war.
Ihor Finashkin got into the creative industry before he even got 20 years old, but his career did not start with advertising and branding. Ihor received his higher education at the Cherkasy College of Music. After graduation, he sang in a choir, played bass guitar in a rock band, was a member of rap collectives, worked as a DJ, and, in the end, started organizing parties and promoting a nightclub. Over time, his career shifted towards the HoReCa field entirely, and he worked as a marketer in various projects until 2013. Then Finashkin spent four years in the UAE, where he opened a music recording studio and operated a video production business.
When he returned to Ukraine in 2017, Ihor Finashkin decided that he wanted to do creative marketing and bring his own ideas to life. So, he launched the I AM IDEA agency in 2018 and began studying at KAMA. Here he met his future business partner Aram Simonyan, with whom they worked on briefs from clients, one of which was COMFY. This company became the first big customer of the agency.
Since then, the creative studio’s portfolio was enriched with a number of projects for a variety of Ukrainian and international brands, including Uklon, Eldorado, Jagermeister, OKKO, Intertop, UDP, Megogo, Domino’s Pizza, Johnnie Walker, Mini Cooper, Будинок Іграшок, robota.ua, the H2D concert agency, Molodist film festival and a charitable project “Життєлюб”. In the year of its foundation, I AM IDEA received the EFFIE Gold Award.
At WEBKAMA Talks on April 7, we will talk with Ihor about advertising and creativity during war.
