The next WEBKAMA Talks meeting will take place on May 19, as always, on Zoom. The guest of the fourth episode of the fifth season of our informal online conversations is a screenwriter, creative producer and director Mykhailo Rud. His professional portfolio includes several successful TV series made at the IQ Production studio, as well as his own short film “Typical Problems” about a teenager on the verge of suicide. During our conversation with Misha on Thursday, we will focus on directing during the war and find out what the TV and film industry is going through now.

Mykhailo Rud has been working in the field of film production since 2013. Today, as a screenwriter and creative producer at IQ Production, he has five completed projects – the TV series “Great Feelings”, “It’s Love!”, “Mothers”, “Sidorénky-Sidórenky” and its sequel “Relationship Repair”. Last year, Mykhailo made his debut as a director of the short film “Typical Problems”, which received the Award for Public Significance at the Khmelnytsky Film Festival.

Now Misha, like all of us, is trying to adapt to the war and is involved in the War Against War community, some of whose members you could have already met at past WEBKAMA events. He also continues to host The Good, the Bad and the Evil Podcast about actual events with a bias toward cinema, the format of which also had to change a bit given the current circumstances.

We will talk to Mykhailo Rud on May 19 on Zoom about how the television and film industry is being transformed during the war and what we should change in our own work processes and habits to adapt to new realities.
